HV3 insert installation help



Trust me, leave your shift points. Anything higher the engine will fall on its face with the valve float. I bumped mine up to like 5600... Yeah that was sooo pointless
 
really? wow i figured if ud go past like 6k it might be a problem not 5600 lol, i want my shifts firmer and tad higher to get more power out of the gear
 


haha i belive it, shift kit pricey? and either way a tunes happening with the mods that ill be putting in whether it changes shift points or not haha
 
Is you sure bro Mike? A GT's stock shift points is like 5800rpm i believe.? And with a canned tune its usually bummped up to 6000. Or 6200 depending. I never heard of 5400rpm stock shift points even in a GTP.
 




I never knew that. Thats weird, so is it different with an 01 cuz i know for sure on my stock tune it shifted around 5800-5900rpm?
 
I shift at 6200 and its worthless.

First and 2nd are cool, But 3rd always blows. Ask Aaron about that 3rd gear pull. Ha. And I don't have an HV3, or exhaust mods for that matter.
