Figured I'd start a thread. Lets see if I can make the pics work... Took these today, before the front tint and stripes come off.. Tint cause the Ticket I got, and stripes because I think it would look weird without the tint. Mods are Scanguage II, 3.3 pully, Cone filter, Headers, Tune Exhaust, 1.9 rockers. working on a custom box for the trunk, i'll add pics when its done... Other than that she's just a DD to get me to work and back.

Thanks, I may keep them on, it depends on how it looks without tint on the front two windows.

yeah, when I got the car it had just the 3.3 and a cpu tune(And a bad transmission, probably the only thing that saved the motor). I added the rest and keep an eye out for KR. I only see about 1.4 ish under extreme load(heavy throtle up hill). And I only saw it then, because I was testing if I did still have KR. I will more than likely get a 3.4 for it. but there are other things higher on the list.

Funny story, when I got pulled over for the tint, the first thing the cop asked was if "I dropped a supercharger in it". I said it came factory with one and he said "It sounded a little more rumbly than normal." Than he told me my car was a little loud, but he wouldn't write a citation for that considering I wasn't driving it crazy. I told him I was driving slow because I just got a speeding ticket last month. =) He laughed and only gave me a ticket for the tint... I never once got pulled over untill I put on the 20's and the stripes... I guess with the red it gets them police all kinda squirlly!
 
Pffft.... Don't take the tint off.. Just go to the yard and get another set of front windows. Swap them out and have the cop sign off on it then go home and put your tinted ones back in.

The officer was kind enough to inform me that should I be caught with tint on the windows again, it would be a 250$ 2 points non-wavable ticket. Not worth it to me.

id take all the tint off if that was the case cars look so stupid with the back windows tinted and not the front.. if anything just tint the fronts light enough to be legal, just my opinion though.
