Anyone ever get a sun roof put in on a GP?

Just curious to see if anyone on here ever got a sunroof put in there Grand Prix. Im probably not gonna do it ever cause i dont really have the money for it and actually kind of scared to see how it turns out lol, i just love the look and stance of a GP with the sun roof popped up. Thats the only thing my car doesnt have that i wish it did exterior wise..
 


for the cost of converting one over you would be better off just buying a car with a hole in the roof.

unless you have some welding skills then start drilling spot welds and have at it
 
I don't have a sunroof either, that's the only thing i'm missing but there's no way i'm going to cut a hole in my roof
 


yea my car dont have a sunroof either, wish it did cause it will look more badass, but no way am i gettin one installed, has like 99.9 percent chance of leaking lol
 
my 98 didnt come with one, but the previous owner decided it needed one. it was alright, but i dont think ill ever own a car with one again. too much weight gain, leak points, failure of the sunroof itself, etc.

i only used it when i was (insert fun inhalants here).
 
The way the sunroof looks when open on gp's is one of the things that made me love these cars in the first place. That and the exhaust note for some reason lol

My current 97 has a sunroof and it sticks up when it's open. My 2001 had a sunroof that retracted straight back instead of up and back. One of biggest differences I noticed between the two.

My car has 200,000 miles on it, and the sunroof has never leaked. That ***** is open every day we have good weather.
