opinions on spyder tail lights

Matt Palm

WHERES THE LAMB SAUCE?!?!
I just bought some silverstar 4000k xenons with the intentions of tinting them along with my windows and tail lights but im gonna get leds to just make it easier to see the lights what are some opinions on spyder tail lights

the led tails? they work fine, some people had a led or two burn out, but i dont see this as being a huge plague.

I have not had any issues wuth the LED tails. Had them for more than a year and all of the LEDs are still working.

Im gettin new ones no matter what. Because my car was a florida car and it wa my great grandmas so she never really drove it and it sat in the sun and it warped the tailights and just looks awful almost as like its starting to seperate

This line concerns me.
You're going to tint a bulb?
Or you're going to tint your housings?

Either one is an extremely bad, and dangerous idea. Unless you GP is an offroad car.

well im gonna darken the lens so thats why i got brighter bulbs and im just making them as if they are the smoked lenses

Still a bad idea. Silverstars HO bulbs aren't really that much brighter. What you can be guaranteed is that they'll die a lot faster. Honestly, it's just a terrible idea, and once you realize it, you'll have to buy yourself new headlamps.

tinting headlights with halogens?

its not like we have any output whatsoever (philips bulbs w/ new capsules), tinting them is outright dangerous. i remember laughing at a rsx guy @ work for tinting his headlights. week later he sanded it down because BLIND.
