Base gtp?!?!?



Very base Doesnt even Appear to have a HUD. It's possible yes. In 97 everything was pretty much an option. For example that is actually a GT with the supercharged option. GTP wasn't a package untill later.
 
Right my 97 still has the window sticker that says that... I just never saw one with soo few options...
 
Looks like it has dual A/C, CD player w/ Equalizer, pregens instead of crosslace & a spoiler. Not a total base GTPooh.

Nope only single ac.(I know cause that's want mine has). Also not pregen rims. They are abs rims. (also what mine has)
 


well at least it doesn't have hub caps the only thing my 97 doesn't have that i wish it did was a sun roof, i love the look of a gp with the sunroof popped up
 
Ed, here is a pic of my dual climate AC, the passenger can raise or lower if needed.

If you look in the add pics it only has single AC.
 


i might look into getting one for mine will it plug into the factory harness for the single climate controls?
 
HAHA Eddie you don't need that dual sh1t. I only use the driver setting. If you ride in my GP you gotta deal with me ehhh. That goes for radio and climate lol.
 
Oh god, don't try and retrofit. You'd have to put in all new HVAC stuff because of independent actuators and crap. Way too much for the effort. Also, there are 2 dual climates: digital (one texas pictures) and manual which has two little sliders for left and right side. My SE is single climate, my GTP is digital dual climate. I'd just as well have a single climate in the GTP. Fewer parts to break and they're cheaper.
 


That wouldn't be a little upgrade. It would be a major project, which I'd be willing to go through myself if I hadn't read so many poor reviews about problems with the digital dual climate system. That's the bigger concern for me. Also, the digital was only used through '00 (97-98 = green display, 99-00 = orange/red). '01 - '03 got the "manual" for the dual climate option.
