Where did I say "they make no sound at all"?
Go fade your speakers to the back, then go fade them to the front. Tell me which is louder. Oh right, the fronts.
And if you say "cause they're closer" I'm just going to assume that your mother dropped you on your head and that you're a complete asshat. At least, more of an asshat than you're already proving to be.
Oh and put your glasses back on, since you're apparently a blind mother****er.
Wow! HAHA! Someones true colors are coming through! I'm the asshat, after you throw up a post like that? I re-read that retarded ass post of yours and I came up with the same conclusion. Your an idiot, case closed.
If you really want me to list off my audio credentials, my resume starts way back in 1995. You may still have been in diapers in those days. I competed in IASCA & USACi events from 1997 to 2002 from novice to pro, I was also a MECP certified master installer. I've also taken courses in acoustics and psychoacoustics...I understand them fully.
From your first post you've made it apparent that
you don't think he needs back speakers. OK, we get it, shut up already! Let him get what he wants, you are not adding anything to this thread other than a bloated opinion. You say that rear speakers are just awful...but why? You state no facts as to why, again just opinion. Rear speakers are fine in any normal car audio system, unless you are competing in competitions, and even then, the lack of rear speakers is questionable. My last 2 major builds had rear speakers in them, actually playing music, and guess what...I swept the field and took home trophies in every show. I don't think Hippo is looking to compete, so lay off the rear speaker thing. Just because you heard someone say "You don't go to a concert and listen with your back to the band" doesn't mean you have to keep regurgitating it.
Hippo, stick with your initial build plan, it will sound good. If you want more bass in the future add a small sub.
