lately i've been having some trouble keeping my car battery charged, if it sits over 2 days its dead, twice i've had to get a jump at work. go in it the other nite and cut the radio on for about 20mins, boom that was enuff to kill it then. some guy said it was the ( i wanna say, Resanator???) but not sure, said it was like $12 at advanced auto. cheapest battery ive seen is $89.

simple and easy problem just trying to save the xtra cash if i can. times is ruff, probably end up getting a new battery anyways.
 


Sounds like the batt. Probably has a dead cell. I think I got mine from Wal-Mart for about 60-65 bucks. I know, I know, a batt from Wally World, but it works.
 
yeah i was thinking of getting a better battery cause i have no capacitor for the subs. probably my main issue rite there. my amps draining the hell out of it. plus when i bought the car they had to jump it :( ... well im off to walmart i guess

Wal-mart or O'Reilly's (if you have those there) You can get one from there for less than $50
 
Previous owner put a Optima Yellowtop battery in my car. I think I'm going to get one for every car I buy from now on. I've let my car sit some nights at parties with the music cranked for hours with a 1500w L7 sub going. Last few times I checked the guage after 2-3 hours the battery was still at 12.5-13 volts. I love it.

Yeah tho$e optima'$ $ure are nice.
 
I have had 4 optima red tops! replace it every year under warranty. one went dead, the next one wasnt sealed right. but now think I got a good one!

Your car isn't too much younger than mine and my stock battery took a **** over night a few weeks ago. Bad cells. New battery and all was good.
 
same with me about a week ago. not the factory battery though. Changed at 11 at nigh when i had to be up at 5 in the morning for court...man i was pissed.
 
yeah i just bought one of those gold batterys with the yellow top. $94 bucks! yikes...but hopefully all is good. new altinator is coming soon i see alittle tarnish on my wiring in there. right now i'm painting my engine mounts and brackets. :D
