Re: 1997 Black GTP, I <3 New Grills!

IMO, drop the GTP label on the front grill. Keep it looking clean...meaning not too many labels on the car. Good job.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, I <3 New Grills!

Those are my winter rims, thats why my car is so black. My summer rims are chrome Comg G's. It will tie the whole car together once i get those on again.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, I <3 New Grills!

I like the gtp badge on the grille. ties good with the whole black and red theme imo.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, I <3 New Grills!

Black on Black on Black!

also should of gotten the black chrome grillz

just sayin

Re: 1997 Black GTP, I <3 New Grills!

So got my rear driver side window fixed. $160 later. Then i got my window tint fixed on the new working window and i also had my visor re-done and brought down lower to fully cover the stock visor. Lastly added the supercharged windshield decal. Looks like ill be done with my car for the winter. Need to save money for spring break and other things for now. Last update for awhile.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, 1/10/12 As She Sits

Hate it...

Not to dis on your car. I like the "Supercharged" decal on the windshield... but it needs to be scripted like the way it is on the rocker panel and on your cluster. Mixing them like you did is just not pleasant IMO. You should have went this way... only red... would have been tits then.

again... just my opinion. I drink the Hateraid so don't get all bent out of shape... just honest opinion.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, 1/10/12 As She Sits

I did have that one my car, check page 1 of my thread. I just tried. Cheap fix if i wanna go back to script

Re: 1997 Black GTP, 1/10/12 As She Sits

Aha! Your right... that was much better, again just my opinion, If your happy with it... ROCK IT!

Re: 1997 Black GTP, 1/10/12 As She Sits

The only reason i tried this one, is because its easier to see/read. Ill roll with it for awhile. $20 fix is all. No big deal

Re: 1997 Black GTP, 1/10/12 As She Sits

Well i did it, i build my own Air Intake! turn out pretty well. spent $60 on it all. The blower is so much louder at WOT. but to my question, where do i ziptie the PCM? i ziptied it a little but it still can move around a little bit. I dont see any places on the PCM of where to ziptie it. some advice would be awesome, thanks!

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Built My Own Intake! 2/4/12

I am pretty of myself since this was the first engine mod I've ever done at I did it by hand. Plus it turned out well. I know quite a but about these cars but I don't know how to do anything mechanical wise myself. So its kind of a big accomplishment for me. I took some videos that I'll post tomorrow.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Built My Own Intake! 2/4/12

Looks good.
I felt the same way when I did mine.
Made me feel good that I did something myself. Better yet, I didn't screw anything up either lol.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Built My Own Intake! 2/4/12

Looks good man... Told you it was cake... Now as far as where to zip tie it... I Just used like 6 zip ties zipped together and ran one end through the old bolt holes and bent it just right to come out another....

I thought I tried to go through the old bolt holes but it didn't seem to work for me. I probably didn't try hard enough. But now since I already have everything put together I don't have much room to mess around with the pcm. Any other ideas? I have some huge 35inch zip ties
