Mazda 6 kill

I'd really like to see a stock N/A V6 Mazda 6 break into the 14's.

Maybe if there was a backwind, with a track that rolls downhill, on a cool day with awesome track prep...and a shooting star.

Look it up online it has 272 HP v6 and can run quarter mile in the high 14s, now that can be possible if you are a great driver

That's 272 rated at the crank guy.

Find me one 14 second Mazda 6 V6 that is bone stock that ISN'T driven by a magazine or is *rated*...

Well you got me there, but im pretty sure if you go to a mazda forum they would convince you lol. Either way i do think those mazdas are pretty good cars. BUT i would take a GTP over it any day

well according to a website i found stock 97-03 gtps are rated at 240 hp and can run high 14's. so if something is rated at higher hp (272) why wouldnt they be able to run 14's?

im the same way though... someone tries to challenge the GTP (could be a piece of **** scion or a bad ass mustang) I always go... dont USUALLY start it...

but I always finish it... ;)

because horsepower isn everything guy... it may have 272 hp but not doing it much good if it peaks at 6500 rpm and takes forever to get there... AND if its AWD its loosing alot of any power its making through the drivetrain...

let me find that link about the 1000hp supra that barely gets into the 11s...

Ya i do agree with you there, before i thought lots of HP makes a car fast but now i know theres lot more factors that come into it now. Ive seen that supra you were talking about on youtube its pretty said it is light and has 1000HP and yet a Zr1 Vette or even the new GTR with way less HP can crack 11 secs.

Btw Nice avatar pic, Love DBZ

Can't convince me with ricer math.

Can't convince me with ricer math.

True Mazdas are rice rockets to me but either way my point is the Mazda 6 V6 is not that bad or the great either and i like the older Gen Rx-7 more then the Mazda 6, And a Grand prix > any Mazda ( but the Rx-7 comes pretty close)

I'm not calling the brand/specific car a rice bucket...I was talking about just because they are rated at "X" HP levels you say they can run "Y" times in the quarter...THAT, is ricer math. Not whether the car is rice or not.

Also, the track capable abilities and the power those doritos on a stick motor can put out...lol @ GP > All Mazda's...I'll take a FD RX7 or a RX8 R3 for a track car ANY day over this WBody junk I climb into every morning.
