remove the stock resnator and put headers on, do not do any aftermarket mufflers, i had them on my 04 loved the sound, untill u cruze at one speed and the rpm's are stayin in one spot, i wanted to pull my hair out, it drones like no tomorrow but i didnt listen to people on here, i have a gxp with the v8 and i run it open headers and it dosnt give me a headache, but the 3.8 with aftermarket mufflers are worse..so u can do what u want but take it from me i didnt listen

when i bought my 05 gp it came with the slp mufflers, n i loved the sound and yea it does drone alot when im on a steady speed, to quiet but then when i hit the accelerator then it gets pretty loud wich i like, throwing either SD headers or SLP headers on it in feb
