just worked a bunch of overtime so i'm gonna start pricing all the gaskets i need and get the cheapest. then get the coupler, scoil, oil, antifreeze ect.

also the tinted headlights have the exact same output as the cloudy bull**** i was using.

order everything on online... i gotta coupler for like 16 bucks and sc oil 6 to 8 bucks online... ... and the rest go to advance auto find it all put in promo code p20 and ya good to go

I wanna see a pic of the car with the lights on in the dark, prolly looks nice. Also driving with HID fogs would be perfect

55w would melt the housings w/o projectors.
Everyone will tell you the same. No one on here runs 55w in stock housings.

I'm still on 35w too, 55w is just overkill. Even with the retro i'd rather play it safe. Melted housings are not for me.

I was wondering the same thing... I wanted to buy 55w on stock housings from vvme (I have 35w right now) but I like super bright lights so I was going to upgrade but not anymore! Kinda wanna keep my housings intact. Thanks for saving my headlights :)

If you lived closer, I'd tell you to order some paint and come over on a weekend ad we'd spray the **** down. I'm not a pro, but I've got some pro tools
(lol at my body shop-raiding self), and we could at least make her even.
Where did you get your new headlights?

I run 55W in my stock fog housing with no issues. I used to run them in my stock headlight housing... then I saw the light and did a retro.

Im running 55w with no issues for about a year now.......I guess some are just luckier than others? ;-)

Luck is indeed the key word. Some people get away with it, others don't.

Fogs are another story. Some people get melted stock housings with 35w even...
