I'm planning on getting a AreoForce Interceptor Gauge and i know it tells you knock and hp and such but i was wondering if anyone has one, likes it and so on. Also i didn't know if you can change perameters with it.

I have one and love it.

Shows you all sorts of stuff like trans temp, fuel trims, MAF (in various units), MAP (in various units), intake air temp, coolant, shift times, converter slip, etc the list goes on. You can't change anything like tuning it. But, it does offer two-way communication by commanding the fans to turn on at any time, CASE learns, fuel trim resets, stuff like that.

thats perfect then cause i plan on gettin a thrasher pcm and the case learn will be right there. thanks for the help, ill go ahead and get one

It's a great gauge.

That is if you can get one that actually works. Don't be surprised if you have to send it back becuase your first one does'nt work. I went through four of them before I received one that worked correctly.

I have a pair of them, with the older programing
I'm thinking of sending them in for the upgrade
You guys think it's worth it?

well then its just a waste of time and money

Not really, does'nt cost anymore than the old style gauge did.

They come in very handy, and customer service with AeroForce is awesome. The only problem is getting yourself a working gauge from them. I have four of them. :p

I've always said that these were one of the best purchases I've done for the car. I love mine, and they do their job very well.

No, mine don't do a CASE Learn, Open/Closed Loop, Fans, LTFT Reset, Programmable “cyclic scan” where up to 8 parameters can be selected to cycle automatically on the display... Also, I can't use the "Shift Light" as a warning light for KR and such...

So, now that you know this, would it be advisable to upgrade my gauges?

lol, yah...

And if it helps, there is actaully 2 warning lights you can program 2 different parameters to watch for the light to come on, and set above/below the parameters you decide...

I never really messed with everything, but how do I do the LTFT reset, Fans, case learn???

Under the menu, one of the last options is "controls". They're under that.

You can set two annunciator values? I thought it was only one?

I'm pretty damn sure, I have two led lights, I'l have to doublecheck but I remember putting in knock and rpms for the hell of it...

Well, I have three of them, and I have had no problems since they were installed back in January/February timeframe. And yes, I would send them in for the update. Their customer service is awesome just go to their website, and leave a thread about your gauges, and see what they say to do.
