What to look for in a new (used) car?

cameron92

Grand Pricks
I am selling my current gp and going to look at this one: Toronto (GTA) cars for sale, buy used autos - Kijiji Toronto (GTA) need to know what to look/feel for, I really want this one to last me a while, and dont want to buy a lemon. Ive bought a used car before (my current GTP), i didnt really look at it, and i kinda paid the price, (replaced fuel lines and tie rods) Are there any problems that 04+GPs commonly have?

When I pop the hood, what should I look at? ( I will look at engine oil and tranny oil, anything else?)

I am bringing my scangauge and am going to check for KR ( how much KR is there in a stock 04+ GTP usually), is there any other parameters i can look at that will tell me whether the car is running good or bad?

Any other pointers on what to look for are appreciated.

First of all I saw your gtp on kiji and take it down!! lol. Anyways I would not recomennd getting a 04 gtp because its the first year of the new style so obvious problems will ensue. My dad just bought an 05 GT fully loaded from Wright Auto sales in Waterloo. I would check them out they have quite a few Grand prixs of the 04+ era in stock right now. There alot cheaper then most deals out there so I would really look at them.
