Sh** i hate to be taking a pic in front of that lol, Nice bro they are freakin bright. Is there any specific brand to get or something? is it ok for me to just get the bulbs? i got the ballast hooked up and just change bulbs.

I went with VVME. I did the whole kit with 2 bulbs and ballasts and harnesses for like $70 but I think just 2 bulbs are like $20 or something.

I got just the bulbs and Ballast for like the same price and its a ONEX brand and ive had the ballast ever since i got em but changed out the 6k for 8k bulbs that are like whatever brand. you think the VVME bulbs are ok on this ballast?

Why install super bright low beams, thats what your high beams are for?

Why? The low beam is low and not high up like the high beam blinding everyone else on the road daaaa

So ya i think i just might get the 4300k and try them out for my self, i see the 5k there looks pretty good. so which one 4300k or 5000k? or is 4300k>5000k>6000k>8000k?

I.went 5000k since 4300 the.Colorado can change based on the quality of.the glass used for the bulb

Have you ever ridden in an HID equipped car? HID lows are downright awesome in improving how much you can see. Since you can't run high beams all the time, you need to improve your low beam visibility. And since the lows stay on with the highs (at least on 04-08's) by improving the low beam, you are also improving the high beam visibility.

I just don't like getting blinded by drivers with HID's and their fogs on. Can't convince myself to turn around and do to others something I don't like getting done to me.

Your are spot on and 100% right

Your comparison is right. 4300 has the most linens and it decreases as you go up in color.

Thanks, i guess later in the future ill get the 4300k, BTW i got a 35W ballast is that good with the 4300k or should i get 55W?

Retrofit? Then you get the awesome output and you don't blind everybody else!

I was thinking about doing that but that cut off does not help when looking at something thats higher up and far that the high beams cant point out. plus to much work, anyone know how to do the retrofit?

Also i found a 4300k kensun xenon HID 4300k 9006 1 pair just the bulbs ultra white color on amazon for like 16.99. Are they worth the price and are they good on bright for that brand, IOW is the quality great? Also i got the 35w ballast, is the 55w better or brighter?

If you do the retrofit with morimoto mini's you get the bi-xenon for low and hi and you also keep your stock highbeams so I don't think that would be much of a problem. And I'm gonna be doing a retrofit pretty soon. I already have the new headlights ordered just waiting on them to come in and then waiting on money for the rest lol. It's supposedly not too hard but I'll let you know afterwards if you want. Plus some before (w/ HIDs) and after (w/ projectors) pics

It was super easy. Just put it in your oven at like 220* ish for 5-7 minutes and pry it open with screwdrivers/your hands lol

Pretty nice job man, i think i might leave it alone to do the retrofit especially since my bro does not like that cut off point. I dont know why but i think we might do it later on, but keep me updated on how you do yours then i can show him and we can do it to our old headlights that got a hole on the side marker from the bulb lol.
