Hey All,

Okay, so i know the '01's a bit old to toss cash at but it's in primo condition and is just plain fun to drive. As suggested the resonator and one of the mufflers are done so i've gotta replace them. I figure now's a good time to toss some headers on as well but i'm looking for suggestions for who's parts and if i should do anything else while i'm at it.

This is actually my company's car so i can't go hog wild on it but if i've gotta replace parts i'm going to replace them with decent (not top-end but not crap) performance parts.

Anybody have suggestions/hints? If i put the headers on now do i also need to replace the cat or can i just let it burn out on it's own? I've gotta have a better look at the blown muffler too. If i can get it to hold on a bit longer i figure i can do a complete cat-back.

let me know what your thoughts are.

thanks,
dean

Don't do what I did last spring when I replaced my rusted out resonator with a straight pipe. It sounded like CRAP without the res. Just my $.02

Cool. That was definately something i was looking at. Is there any performance lost with the resonator? I'm looking at a cat-back from Magnaflow that comes with a resonator but had thought that i'd gain performance by dropping the resonator.
