Yet another strange noise question!

NB here and need some help. I have a 06 GP std sedan. No ABS, no traction control. none of the goodies. Standard 3.8L 102,000 mi daily driver. It has what sounds like a speedometer cable noise coming from the front. Strange because I am pretty sure this car doesn't have a speedo cable. The clicking increases with speed (almost sounds like a tire seperating and flapping) and is unaffected by engine rpm. It seems to go away sometimes when I start to turn the wheel. The power steering pump is whining also so I know I need to replace that soon. I pulled the wheels (all 4) and checked brakes and for looseness (thinking hub/bearing) but all seemed ok. any ideas? I'd like to sell this thing but can't in this condition.

Only makes noise when the car is in motion, and changes with vehicle speed, but not wheel bearings. Warped rotor? Sticky brake caliper? Cracked swaybar?

Check to make sure the resevoir is full, first before you just outright replace it. The cap is uncomfortably nested down next to the passenger side strut tower behind the alternator.

thanks for the PS tip. I'll do that. A cracked sway bar would make a noise like that? and change with vehicle speed?
