O2 Sensor

I need to replace my O2 Sensors to clear the Check Engine Light...any suggestions on which O2 Sensor(s) to purchase to save $$ but ensure quality?
 


The front O2 (the one by your spark plugs) is the one that will make decisions on how the engine runs. Stock replacement is best. I'd bet that this is the one that set your light, so replacing it before purchasing the other sensor could save you money. The rear one after the cat is just there to make sure you have a cat. I wonder if you could get away with a cheaper sensor back there... anyone know?

Gotta be about one of the stupidest statements I've seen on here. Saving money.... why not pull the engine code and have it tell you WHICH sensor needs to be replaced? That way instead of guessing in order to save money you actually figure it out to save money...
 


I agree with knowing the codes to know what is actually going on. I've seen a lot of guys replace an O2 with a P0171 code. All they did was throw money away because that code is 99% never about the sensor.

Exactly, Bill saved me the cost of an o2 , I had a P0171 and through his posts ( and Falconjohn's ) I managed to finally fix it.
It was the egr tube at the manifold had a small crack. I also replaced the missing throttle body screen, at the same time.
