• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Can anyone tell me what this squeaking noise is?!?

Sounds like either a wheel bearing or maybe you have a bushing that is shot back there. Def. sounds metal on metal.

Crawl under it and look at all the suspension parts and see if there is any place there is shiny metal showing.

If there's room for an amateur opinion--I'm not so sure about the bearing idea. It never hurts to check, but when I've been around a bad wheel bearing, it always had a lower pitch and made more of a rubbing or grinding sound. If it were I, I would first check to make sure that the lug nuts are tight. 2) I'd check to make sure that the brakes aren't rubbing. 3) I'd do a thorough inspection underneath. Try to see if something looks worn or if part of the suspension is rusted out. It doesn't hurt to tug on a few things underneath to make sure that they don't have too much play. (Just make sure that the wheels are blocked before you tug, of course!)
Anyway, let us know what you find!

i vote E brake hanging up.

i had a similar sound, and my e brake was to tight. if you jack up the back wheel and spin it you may hear it make the noise.

I dont think it is that, It doesnt make the noise when i am just normally driving down the highway or whatever, its only when i go over bumps.

Give your exhaust tips a shake..

Thought mine was strut/mount related but turns out its the exhaust hangers

Last night I held the tip n gave it a shake and voila.. Cappuccino sounds

Ive had the exhaust scrape on my rear sway bar and the hanger pins creating a similar noise.
