2015 mustang looks promising

SO don't get it twisted. I like cars. American cars. I have had Porsches, Audi,Toys, VWs (lots of them) Fords, GM. I like my car. I like responsive cars. I thought my next car would be a vette. I like American. If its fast, economical, and the part I need is on the shelf. I"ll consider it. The cool part about about this is they all have faults, they all will need need service, and tits and tires cost money. I would't be quick to purchase something that's new and improved. Let them get the bugs out. In America marketing leads engineering. That means they haven't gotten the last revision.
I've been fortunate to drive many vehicles in 40 years of driving including a Lambo. If it gets me from a to b and I can afford it ,I get it. That's what America is about~ competetion for my dollar. Right now I think this Pontiac Grand Prix GT is the bomb and I wish I got one sooner. That said, I think the Mustang has been kicking GM's booty for years and GM needs to answer the call and step up to the plate with whatever. Two cents.

Really?, the Pontiac Grand Prix GT is the bomb?, how so, especially considering those other cars you listed, just curious, not implying anything. :)

If the Mustang looks like the picture posted by BlueGTP, then it isn't really an improvement over the current design. If it ends up looking like this, then GM should be a little more worried:

Otherwise this looks mighty-fine:

If that's the new design, I'm not a fan.

And one of these days I'm going to finally get the hint I don't belong here. "Once a slowtang, always a slowstang", and all these other comments concerning mustangs/cobras being slow....I grow tired of defending cars I like, especially on here. I do it for GP's on the mustang boards too, although you guys hate WAY more then they do.

I'm going to ignore these "slow" comments coming from GP owners, and see how that works for now. Carry on.

I also think its annoying that people say that about mustangs, I don't like them personally, but a car is a car and mustangs are RWD which is what most of us GP owners wish we had hehe.

One thing I don't like though is that a lot of people think they are super BA because they have a V6 Mustang or Camaro.

Some folks don't know when they have it good. My comment was in concern of maintenance and repair upgrade. The 3800 was voted the best ten engines dispite the cheapo fire hazard intakeand poor breathing skills. Ford transmissions, Audi, VW, Porsche maintenance woos and associated expense to repair them. Again, what works for you.

Yeah, that asskickng we got from 93-02 by the Mustang is still laughbly tender .

Gm responded to the mustang with the camaro and it outsells the mustang.

It's too early. We'll know in 2013-14 what it will look like. Stop predicting, it's nearly impossibly to go based of concepts, they never end up looking like that.

The new stang is supposed to be more modern version of the car losing it's "vintage" look. IMO I wouldn't buy it. For me the 2014 mustang will be the anniversary edition.
