he cars were at storage at my shop. i had them parked on the neighboring property as a old bastard was complaining about cars on the propery of an m zoned area (automotive repair zoned, commercial) and he was running a hypobarric chamber massage thing out a unit
anyhow, i have video and the guy got charged, all 4 cars i had out got damaged, as apparently according to him the cars were distracting to his customers. he's looped
my 01 has complete damage to the front including the drivers door, aluminum subframe, rear 1/4s as the fenders cut the tires then stripped the paint, the rear bumper got messed aswell as he pushed it into a wall. it also appears my front drivers strut is leaking, but it may be just the line going to it as they run under the car.
i just completed putting in a custom dual pass radiator for my holden aussi intake manifold setup, and i never even drove it with the hood on it yet,
my 89 had a bent rear trailing arm and custom kyb age and coil over setup, the rear bumper is poped out and scaped all over, this paint can not be matched due to the high metallics (green, red, blue, gold, silver) and the front bumper is damaged from being pushed to the wall too.
a friend fiero was lifted by the front like my 01 was and the forks went right through the bottom of the "trunk"(front) and it ripped the rack and pinion from the mounting holes on one side. the bumper was also cracked.
my friends 80 firebird in which was just finished the body work and ready for paint cracked a tail light and has a few other very minor things.
the guys is getting charged with theft, vandalism, and a few other things i can't remember, possession of stolen properly or similar (he put them in behind his unit on a fire stations property.
the officer says that the cars insurance value has nothing to do with this type of case and if i can prove i have 5000 hours for example i can sue for (100per hr/ x 5000 hrs) for someone else to do the things to another car to get it to where mine was.
i watched the video and it made my stomach drop. in the end its just a car,
the car was damn near mint,
