General Motors has shed more light on its product debuts at the Detroit

The automaker plans to unveil a global production Buick crossover at a news conference on the morning of Jan. 10, spokeswoman Stephanie Rice said Tuesday, declining to give more details. GM had been expected to launch a small Buick crossover, likely called the Encore, as a 2013 model.

On the morning of Monday, Jan. 9, GM plans to reveal two new Chevrolet concepts from its design center in North Hollywood, Calif.

GM had already said it planned to unveil the Cadillac ATS compact. It will also show the production version of the Sonic RS, a hot-rod inspired version of the Orion Township-built subcompact.

The automaker unveiled a stylized concept version of the Sonic -- then known as the Aveo -- at the 2010 North American International Auto Show.

The full news conference schedule for the auto show is expected to be announced today. Manufacturers plan to debut about 36 new vehicles at the 2012 Detroit auto show, up from 32 global unveilings in 2011.

The two Chevy's are being reffered to as the Chevy twins to employees, but no details are being given.

Rumor has it that one is a Cruze sized coupe vehicle, and the other is unknown.

They are not likely unveiling the Impala here.

Yay I love the NAIAS Detroit

It also needs Pontiac's aggressive styling. Look at a 97-03 GP, then look at the Regal of that same generation. That's why I don't like the absence of Pontiac with the new Regal GS or any other comparable vehicles that are being produced currently.
