i have an 2004 grand prix gt that is supercharged. first off is it rare that i have a supercharged from the factory gt? and i am wanting to put a boost gauge in the top driverside air vent to the left of my steering wheel keep in mind this is the new body style and i have seen people put the gauges in there vents in there speed3's so i wanna try it in my gp and if anyone has done it some pics and info would be great. thanks

The only GT's that were factory supercharged were the 06 and 07 GT's because Pontiac dropped the GTP nomenclature from the Grand Prix line up. If your car is a 04 GT and is supercharged, someone swapped it. If you scroll through your DIC there would be a factory "boost gauge" if your car is indeed factory supercharged.

As it stands, its basically pointless to have a boost gauge in a supercharged application anyway.

Its a gt its supercharged its not a gtp. there arent heated seats or a heads up display or the 5 button dic no boost gauge and nothing has been swapped came like this from the factory so im assuming its kinda rare

It never came from the factory like that. My GTP is exactly like yours. If it has always had a supercharger, its a GTP.

it didnt come from the factory like that. post up your vin number. either its a gtp or its been swapped. and if its been swapped id sure as hell wanna know if i was you

And why do you insist on a boost gauge? Its POINTLESS on a supercharged car.

i wouldnt say useless....just not super useful. only time mine ever helped was when my map sensor vac line blew off. instantly knew it.

So you purchased this car new from a certified GM dealer in Late 2003 or 2004?

This is just like the conversation with the kid with the 07 base who swears its a GT even though it has base wheels, base exhaust, base interior, and a non supercharged 3.8.

vin is 2Gwr524841362931 it has gt badges and gt options headrest dont have the triangle hole and no heads up 3 button dic that only reads trip and date. is it possible that superchargers were an option aside from having the gtp package. i dont believe its a swap under the headlight on the subframe is a gm sticker noting the l32 motor
