Will post slips later. All runs done on street tires at 25 to 23 psi tire pressure, with dry burn outs, a not so good quick street tune( -11s ltft, max timing set to 20*,high 10s to low 11s afr, full weight plus my 230llb self.
First pass of the night was a
13.4 @ 106mph with a 2.0 60ft

Then a few 13.5s to 13.9s at 105 to 106s with the car spinning 1st and short shifting into 2nd before 5k. This was me power braking at 1500 on the launch then rolling into it but would spin once I went wot.

Then my last two runs were my pb of the night. This time I rolled into it from idle and got
13.2@107 with a 2.2 and 2.18 60ft. Also got a p0103 code on these runs with some kr. And I could hare my front header leaking a little, blew out my sec resonator in less than 3 months(internals rattling).

So got a few things to fix before I go back with drags. Tune, header leak, miss fire in cyl 3, and resonator.
But overall I am happy with the results so far.

Not bad man. I think you're cabale of crackin 12's with at least a 2.0 60ft and more tuning work.

Re: finally took the regal to the track 13.2@107

Turns out I don't have a miss fire. The code I got is a p0103 maf code from what I have been told. Looks like its time for a n* and lq4. Which I already have. Just need to get the harness adapters and Tb cable bracket.

Great run. I have to admit I read ur post fast and saw 23psi thinking insane turbo. Then I watched your link and confusion set in as I heard a supercharger. Lol

Don't do burnouts on street tires. All you are doing is killing your tread life.

Good runs though.

Dont do a full burnout but do a quick spin to clean off the tires. Be sure to drive around the water box too.

also congrats.

I did the burn out for fun. It was my first time doing them in this car. I know it won't help any on street tires but it sure got everyone's attention that night. I had tons of people coming up to me making what I had done to the regal lol. I'll be back to the track after x-mas with some drags, lq4 maf, and a really good tune. I should deff hit mid 12s and pick up a few mph. I can't wait.

Only in Florida can you race at the track after Christmas. Unles my track opens and allows studded snows , I'm screwed till about April 2012 lol

And that means what?

R/T Determines NOTHING on your E/T in the 1/4.

I could sit at the light for 20 minutes and still run whatever I was going to if I had a perfect .000
..

well yea you right... but if you lined up with someone you could get the jump and have a better chance of winning the race

I never went to the track to "win races"...I went to the track to beat my previous PB's.

If I want to win a "race"...I'll go be a cool guy and pick on something on the street.
