i lost to a civic



You got him this time? So you beat a car that reeled you in like a fish up top...in an up top race...with a car who's only prayer in hell is the low end....nice. and I'm not hatin on you, I started with a gt.but what did you expect when you posted this? You say you'd rather "live to see another day" yet your out street racing? Pick a side
 
Or better yet, don't race a GP at all. If you haven't realized it yet, 99% of people don't give a **** about a GP anymore.

i took off on him this time not by alot but i still won and he stopped i only race when noones around. and i dont race to the top speed all the time only once in awhile we got to like 70 or 80 when we stopped racing.. im talkin about people who race to like 150 and up

Also, you got pulled pretty good in that video you posted. Did you spray on him for round two or something?

i don't agree with street racing at all. Its people that street race that cause accidents and death. I'm not saying they're the main cause of it but they are one of the many reasons insurance rates are so high...... Next time you race on the street, think of the innocent life you might take, yours included.

Damn, that was a pretty epic 16 second battle. I also figured that civic would pull you a lot harder. Time for a top swap!
 


so the second race you took off on him.. so it was from a dig(or else you did a ricer flyby) and you only stood a chance with the low end torque, so you kept ahead a lil longer and the civic didnt want to go above 60 mph probably and let off knowing the outcome would be him passing you sooner or later so wasnt worth they high speed ticket for him.

EDIT:watching the video again its a good race i like how you pull a car on him. but after 1st gear he pulls on you pretty hard.. would a stock gtp even win to ths civic? be close.

Doubt it...not the way that thing yanks that GT. Probably need a basic 3.4" setup to roll that turbo Civic...you gotta figure too, it has top end power...even if it only makes 200WHP...its all high RPM...highway crappin' on the 3800...since after about 100, even on a 3.4" setup...with a stock valvetrain...the GP is laggin.
