5.0's will walk a mustang hands down

. . going out on a limb here and saying YES he does! loldo you need a driver mod?
so what I'm gettin to is would it be worth the race or would I be seeing tail lights n the same goes for a 4.6
I Just now noticed you asked about the 4.6 equipped poostan's as well. Race any and all you see with reckless abandon, as they are all slow.
if foxbody is stock, it will have lil less horse then a gtp, but the same if not more torque, and they are WAY lighter. but he could just start spinning like mad off the line if he has **** tires, but so could you. stock for stock should be close IF he's stock
if he has a few mods and fatter tires with good tread left you dont stand a chance.
(94/95 where still 5.0's, which btw a gtp should walk away from these too)
if its a 96-98 4.6L you should win easily
(98 was the last year of the npi 2v GT's)
99-2004 4.6L (auto) close race gtp should take it though, (manual) although close, it's the GT's race to lose, but still a driver's race.
2005-2010 4.6l should walk you everytime.
just gets worse from their. go race a 2011 3.7l v6 6spd manual mustang and youll get whoopin lols
93 was the first year of the SVT cobra line up, and aside from the 93 Cobra R, it was the only "foxbody" Cobra. For comparison...
93 GT= 205hp/275trq
93 Cobra= 245hp/280trq
I might be slightly off on those numbers, but that's what I seem to remember. The increase in power was due to gt40 heads, new intake manifold
Yez.
GT40 Heads, GT40 Intake...I also think they had revised exhaust mannys as well...since the 5.0 SN95 car had AWFUL pinched manifold designs at the start of the primary.
I'm not saying you're wrong.
