Just to hammer this home, I’m 100% sure that is a tranny line. I know because I check that exact fitting every time I do an oil change. And the fluid on the oil pan looks like spatter from the tranny line leak. GM apparently chose some bad fittings because mine leaks as well, just not nearly that bad. Make sure you check your tranny fluid level ASAP.
If you have went more than 75K without a tranny fluid change I’d do that now and have the fitting changed at the same time.
As far as you smelling oil I suggest two things. First change to a 5W-30 “high mileage” oil, what ever brand trips your trigger. And the other would be to replace the PCV valve.:th_peaceout:
