Skyline Don't Want None



No we're not saying modded he can only get 350 hp. On a skyline from japan, a real skyline, it takes money to mod. Seen a show on them and it cost the guy close to 30 grand to get around 800 to 850 hp and that was with a twin turbo and fully built motor plus the cost of the car. I dought somebody with that type of money would be sitting in a best buy parking lot. And if he had any type of mods besides a cia and fart can, if he got jumped at, he would have atleast tapped the throttle enough to say you don't want none.
 
ha what does the parking lot have to do with anything... there is 1000hp cars that cost problew more than 100000$ to build that sit in a kroger parking lot. i dont get your drift with that. and all cars cost money to build. again not really getting your drift. gotta pay to play. but no i was just saying that it is being asumed that the skyline was not modded.... how do you know. you dont. then the point was made that street wolf has a fast car so it would destroy it. yes street wolf does have a fast car but your saying a skyline cant get 350hp...

my point was how do you know you would kill it... thats all

but no i agree that the guy problew was intemidated after hearing the supercharger. specilly with a small ass pulley. but HOW do you know????? because his antenta wasent up?? idk. maybe he was low on blinker fluid and couldent signal to switch lanes in a race......
 
And we will never know unless Street runs across him again and races or talks to the guy and finds out what he has. We can argue this all night long, but it'll all boil down to we just don't know.

LOL, I'd rather have my 3 sisters work in a whore house than to have a Skyline, how thats for not wanting one?

They don't impress me at all honestly and there are MANY american made cars i'd take over one of them any day of the week as for price and performance. I'm not a rice rocket fan, never have been, never will be.

Yep, i'll keep my GTP. Give me a Skyline and i'll turn around and sell it for a real car thats fun, enjoyable, and american!

That motor was not bullet proof at all! You must be confusing it with the Lexus inline 3.0, that was in the Supra. The Skyline motors where reliable, but did need to have the bottom end strengthened for really high HP outputs. Also those cars had very expensive suspensions and cheap interiors. Not a particularly quality car.

Not being a spoiled A-hole and having to earn everything I get I would rather take my Park Avenue over an over priced over rated skyline.

That's funny you say that... I know guys who import those motors and put them in their 240's.. The RB25 and RB26DETT's are one of the best built motors in a foreign car. Yes the 1JZ (lexus sc 300 and supra N/A) and the 2JZ (soarer and supra turbo) are also very reliable. And a sticker in the $30's-$40's isn't what I would call overpriced... bmw yes...vw not so much. I'de take an acura/infinity/lexus over a vw and most BMW's. BMW is overrated unless its a 30 series or up
 
theres a kid with a skyline here on staten island, its right hand drive and supposedly "real fast" ive never seen him go past 30 on the street so i have no input. it woulda been a good run between the 2

2. DID YOU SAY SKYLINE?? WTF Those are rare as hell in the US! Its very hard to get that damn car legal in the US. Very expensive too. I went to Japan a few summers ago and I saw supras, rx-7s, Skylines, blah blah, all day! They are very common over there. I never once saw a GT-R R34. I saw lots of R-34's but none were GT-R.

Ugh..... kinda forgot about this thread. I've ready everything posted but there is just waaaaay too much to quote and reply too.


But....yep, it was a Skyline without a doubt. Not sure if it was GT-R or not since I'm not horribly familiar with where the badges should be located, and it was dark outside so I did'nt get a good look.

Not sure what the deal is with the video being down though.

Alrighty, I'll try and see what the problem is. If all else fails I might just re-upload it. Shouldn't take long.


Video isn't that exciting though, no racing going on or anything since I don't do that on the road. Just my buddy in the passenger seat filming the Skyline as we drive next to it and mess with it a bit.
