So im walking out of my dorm room headed to my car. As im getting closer to my car i notice red paint above my driverside door. i get to my car and see its my old paint under my new paint. i just had the entire car repainted 4 months ago. it looks like some kid tried to use a crow bar and get into my damn car! now the door wont close right and there are dozens of dents and paint damage all along my freakin car! i really didnt need this as my money im saving is for a turbo build! well im gonna see if i can get it fixed cheap enought to still build my car. anyway just wanted to vent a little.

O wow that sux dude!!!

You need to get that fixed and then get a small window sticker for both sides... I have seen several that come to mind

"This car is protected by Smith & Wesson Anti-Theft Security System"

"If you value your life as much as I value this car, you will NOT touch it"

"If you can read this, I can see you thru my scope"

On a serious note, get a police report and you can put it thru to your insurance agency as vandalism and they should help you get it fixed. It may also help spark something with the local cops if they have had more than one hit like that, it may help them bust them or have more on them when they bust the bastards.

"If you can read this, I can see you through my scope"
-Thats hilarious...

Sucks to hear that, but judging from the way the thief tried to enter your car..... doesn't seem like the smartest person out there.
I would definitely mention something to the local police department.... No insurance?

i broke into my own car using this exact way because i locked my keys inside. it is very easy to do without messing up the car so long as you arent a tool shed.

i can show you sometime. seriously, it's that easy.

Yeagh... I was thinkin about it after I posted, makes total sense now.

Im not forsure what they saw inside, my car is tinted, and i do have a flip up touch screen CD player and 2 12 inch kickers... its pretty loud and they probably hear it around campus or something. But you dont see the flip up unless the car is on. I did file a police report because my uncle is cop up here where me and Austin (Austins01GP) go to school at and he said they really wont do much because nothing was stolen, same with insurance because its not full coverage....

Im also not bringing my car back up here until i have a car alarm that says "Back the F*** up" if you get to close to it. LOL

tinted windows and anything you can see are reasons to break into cars. my windows were real dark and someone had to break into my car in order to figure out there was nothing there to take. they took like $1.48 in change.

dont park your car places where it's vulnerable.

^hahahah
i would say yeah watch the subs
this sucks cuz i have to park in the same area i moved my car close to the doors as possible and under a street light hope it helps:th_praying:

man ya ive had my old truck broke into, now with my GP i just watch where i park it and before i get close to where im going i turn down the sub. Still attracts attention, but ya pretty much what everyone else is saying on here. Learning experience non the less but good luck gettin it fixed and moving forward with your car.

That is the easiest way to break into your own car without doing damage***if you know what your doing. I use a carpet installers tool
DIR141_3fp-carpet-installation_s4x3_lg.jpg
but mine is solid plastic so it doesn't mess crap up. Either way that's pretty ****ty for someone to do... I know the feeling, twice, plus another one at gunpoint for a flipout dvd I had in my old 00gt that the bastard just ripped the screen off cause he only had one hand to work since the other had a gun pointed at me...
