Wanna start by saying I am new to this forum and am hoping to not only get helped by others but to help them as well. Anyway picked up my GTP tonight and lets just say its not stock. lol I will be posting up pictures of it soon but that won't be until tomorrow because I want to wash it and take pictures in the day light. But of course being a used car it has a few issues...for instance I was driving it around and showing it to my friend when I tried rolling down the window and it wouldn't budge. I could here the motor running but the window didnt move...well it did eventually lol. I was driving around 10 minutes later and it just fell into the door on me. I was able to pull it back out but I want to get it back on the tracks and make it run right, so does anyone know how to fix these?

What do you mean by the window regulator?

My Iroc isn't the purdiest but it has the 5.7, t-tops, and every other option you could have gotten in 87 except for the leather seats...lets see if this works. Oh and fyi I bought the Grand Prix because the motor blew in my 2000 Intrepid with the 2.7 with 68,000 miles and I need something for snow while that gets fixed:mad:.

The 2.7 is a worthless motor in anything..much less a full size car. So what kinda mods does the prix have?

Yeah it really ticks me off on how they made that motor and why they would even offer it.

So far I have found that it has MSD ignition system, alarm, GTX ram air, drilled and slotted rotors, aftermarket wheels, body kit, spoiler, hood, countless hail dents (except for on the hood). You know what I will post up some pictures in a bit, I just had it washed and need to take them.

The car also has a clunking sound under the car occassionally and also needs some basic maintenence that needs to be carried out.

What's wrong with the MSD ignitions? I have heard nothing but good things about them...when I say ignition I mean as far as I can tell only the distributor is MSD.

well it doesnt have a distributor.....so im going to assume you mean the coil packs. and they perform under the factor coils...and that body kit is a little too ricer for my liking...but as long as you like it

Whoopsy, I'm just to used to my Camaro lol. I'm not a huge fan of the kit either but it has grown on me since picking it up. If I was around 30 and was driving this car I would get rid of it but since I am in high school I really enjoy the attention.:D

Yeah I know what you are getting at and the previous owner put in a whole alarm system and I don't speed plus I keep it parked where it is well lit and it is a good neighborhood. Plus the radio is currently in the trunk lol. So I have most of my bases covered.

Another question....how many limited edition 99 GTP's were made? I am digging up like no information.

alot..not a million but a good amount. just some different exterior stuff and interior was all it was
