like stated it HAS to be awd and auto. i just began doing research on them and im digging them. what do yall think? perhaps i can do a turbo back exhaust, perhaps upgrade the turbo manifold? orrr i can be a cool kid and put an evo fmic on it.


and no im not getting an EVO..i wish

lancers come without a turbo......unless im stupid...

get her a n/a subaru. drivetrain is miles beyond a mitsubishi.
 
i thought all the lancers (NOT EVOS) were FWD non-turbo.

subarus are all AWD, but come in n/a and turbo'd.
 


2009Plus lancer ralliarts featured a turbo 2.0l detuned version of the 4B11T pulled from the Evolution X, producing 235 hp. They share the same trans I believe.

I am going to look into this. That is interesting. The Mazda Speed Protage(no clue how to spell it) Its a front wheel drive turbo

she doesnt need a turbo! you want 4 doors for the kids, and AWD for the winter. N/A suburu. get like an 03-04 impreza, legacy, or forester.
 
thought the newest SHO were twin turbo makin 400 plus ponies?

depending on what year/trim level theres fwd n/a lancers as well as turbo awd ones. like stated its detuned, suspension is softer, smaller turbo, smaller front mount intercooler as well etc. BUT the fun part is i can add any evo parts i want over if i feel the need.

if i was getting a brand new car it would NOT be a Mitsu for the record
