Best quick struts?

What are the best quality ready to bolt in quick struts? I replaced all my factory struts with "prime choice" auto parts quick struts last year and the rears are already failing. Sadly, I only have a little over 10K miles on them.. My front end has also made all these clunking and popping noises when turning sharp at slow speeds since installing these struts. Now I am looking to replace all four front and rear with the best quality quick strut that money can buy. Any suggestions?

They do, search around.
Kyb makes a quick strut for our car that uses their excel-g strut(the one that replaced the gr-2).

Also, if you want to spend some $$.. Zzp sells a kyb agx/ssc quickstrut.

I have heard mixed results from the AGX struts. Some say they wear out prematurely.

I put KYB GR2s on all 4 corners of my 05 GT about 20k miles ago. The rears were quick struts. The fronts were not so I re-used the front springs. They are doing great. I thought they could have been valved tighter when I first drove them (more sporty). But 20K miles later they haven't soften any noticeable amount either. So the GR2s are quality and OK for the GT suspension but I would suggest something sportier for the GTP. I would have sprung for the adjustable AGX but they are not available for the 05 GT. I heard lowered suspensions shorten the life of the struts.

I looked into Bilsteins too but they are crazy expensive.

Do not get Monroe's...My car is lifted way higher than it should be. I knew new springs would raise it slightly but these make it REALLY bad, and didn't even ride that well either. If you ever see my car around town, I'm sure you'll notice...It's been a year and a half so its dropping a little but it's still way too high in the front.

For that reason I avoided them.

Monroes should be avoided because the KYB are of better quality.

I have Monroe quick struts on mine and they are at stock ride height and did not raise it. I got the premium set though. All four + shipping for around $360. The car is just like it was with the stock struts before they went bad.

I recommend Rockauto. Bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. Had a truck bearing from Rockauto start humming a week after I installed it. They sent a new one from a different supplier without hassle.

Rockauto does not carry KYB complete strut assemblies.

Yes they do...

Front is kyb SR4002, rears are SR4003 and SR4004.

Weird.. Only way I could find them was to search under the part numbers. If you search directly through the parts catalog they are not listed. I could only find KYB bare struts.. Thanks though!!

^^^^. They gave me a reason why they don't..... Let me see if I still have the email.

Said ppl were sayn they were out quicker on the gtps or something like that...???
