Hello, new to the forum here. (Live in Flint, MI area)Just purchased a Fully Loaded 2004 Galaxy Silver Comp G with 49k miles. I found it in southern michigan and it was very well maintained by the female owner. She wasn't going to let me drive it because it was raining, and then she used a chamois to wipe it off when i was leaving as it was back into the garage. The car is in great shape with only 1-2 dings and the interior is very clean. There is the usual rust around the engine compartment but not too bad. The chrome rims are in great shape for being driven a little in the winter. I really liked my 2 door white gtp but with a child on the way the for door will be much better. I have driven it for a week now and love it. Very quick. I have my 99 up for sale for $4000 which is just a starting point and have had a few lookers. I hope the 04 holds up as well as the 50k miles i put on my 99 did

The picture shows up on my computer. O well I'll add as an attachment. Yea I bought it mainly because of the miles. One thing i was wondering about was the Monsoon system and the amount of bass. I drove a 07 gt with a Monsoon system in it but that seemed alot louder than mine.

Finally got some pics up. Sold my 99 for $3800 to someone around my town. i thought that wasn't bad considering the 00-02's out there for 4-4,500. My buddy did all new alpine's in his 04 and said that he like it as well. It could use a little more bass.
 
I have been driving my car for about 3 weeks now and love it. A couple of things that I have been noticing. The seats are a bit slick. I dont know what cleaner she used on them but just slick. Anything out there that you use for treatment to make them a little softer? Also, the steering is a bit creaky? I don't know if the Magnasteer makes it sounds any different? Just sounds like its too tight or something when i slowely turn the wheel? Also, the plastic around the steerin wheel radio controls is a bit scratched up. Are they as easy to replace as the 97-03? Thanks.
