Well whats to say.

Mods on GTP mine hasn't seen the road in over a year.
Cracked heads and possibly cracked block from freezing. (water in block)

3.3 Pulley
Ported and polished heads
Ported Blower
Msd wires and coils
103 autolite plugs
3800 Perf tune
Pacesetter headers
SLP exhaust No cat or resonator
Dogbone mod
Custom 4" CAI
bunch of CRAP Gm put on BYPASSED

Coolant in the intake and heads (but not the oil lol)
Ported intake manifold and coolant bypass mod
215/XX/16 tires Dry rot

Okay to the race. Taking the GTP to storage burning coolant and all.
this Sweet as FURD comes rolling by sounded very nice. and looked fast.
my old man was with me and said If she blows up oh well get him NOW
I said Yea alright. pulled up on him honked ( the freaking horn never worked till then amazing) i said race he did the okay, pointed on 3. on my 3rd honk my motor reved instantly and by the time his revved all the way i had a car on him and pulled freaking hard. we went from 25 to 80, main road pshh. i had put 2 maybe 3 cars on him i wasnt sure didnt look back my car doesnt have mirrors right now

we get to the stop light i said whats that got, he said 5.0 and mods. i thought they were 5.4 and 4.6 motors but okay..

so i said i have a 3.8 v6. he said is it supercharged, I said yup, he said he had one thats why he bought a mustang cause the Grand prix was slow. i told him he just got whooped badly by a 3.8 that he said was slow. lol :th_mischievious:


i miss driving this car i really do. but i put it in storage for another 2 years. :th_sick1:

Wait, did you edit the SVT part or did I miss it? If it was a cobra is had a stock rating of 240.
 
it was def newer. So maybe he was just some kid who didn't know his stuff.
Im gonna say 4.6 then because i doubt he had the 5.4

it looked freaking identical to your Cobra only his was black and black rims. murdered out
But no it wasn't supercharged
 
Hmm, doubt it was an 03/04. Also doubt it have a 5.4 liter swap. Most likely a 99-01 Cobra 4V 4.6, and those are rated at 320...assuming the 99 had the "fix".
 
the fix? and sorry im not real good on what mustangs have lol.

I do know it had your bumpers, tail lights and head lights but a cowl hood.
 


If it had my bumpers then it had them swapped. 99 rear bumpers look no different then GT rear bumpers, they even say mustang on them. 01's said cobra, but the lettering was much smaller. The front bumpers were the same between the 99/01 but they were different then the 03/04 bumpers.

And the fix was just a recall ford made shortly after the first 99 cobras were sold. Turns out the were way short on the advertised power rating (more along the lines of GT power). So ford either acid dipped or extrude honed the intake manifold, replaced the H pipe, and gave it a pcm reflash to bring it up to the 320. Most got this "fix" as it's known, but some still remain that didn't get it.

atleast he was a good sport about it , I was happy as hell i beat him, it sounded fast when he rumbled by.

also after i beat him my buddy in a 95 Z28 completely stock gutted interior tried beating him and the stang pulled from him slowly. his camaro his rated 275Hp for 1995
 


Nice kill. I say he needed a driver mod though if it was a 99-01 cobra with mods. Especially since you have cracked heads/block. lol

honestly it runs no different. It revs right up, no hesitation, no sputtering.
I had this damn car but i love it so at the same time. its like a marriage.
