• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

21st Annual Pontiac Nationals, Norwalk, OH Aug. 3rd-5th, 2012

So on my drive I was thinking about the situation, and one thing I kept turning over in my head was the conversation Nick was having at bw3s which consisted of him telling us all how it used to be... big meets with 80 cars GM reps, sponsers etc... and how there just hasn't been any real attempt at a proper meet in awhile.

So heres my Idea Instead of laying it all on one persons shoulders and having them attempt to put on a great event by themselves which Isn't really possible lets split this up and have several people organize it so we can put on something that will really be remembered.

So we need nominations for comittee members to run this thing the more the better...

but heres the catch if you want to nominate someone you have to make a $10 donation to the event that can go towards advertiseing the event, beer, and what not

and if you get nominated and don't want to help out well **** YOU..jk but no shame on you...

I'm going to go ahead and be the first a hole to put a name in there and thats going to be Bluegtp91 because we need someone to keep track of all the money stuff from nominations and he works at a bank so...

so go ahead and write it down or something but I pledge $10

you can make as many nominations as you want but you got to pay for each

some of you may think this is dum but it seems like a decent Idea to me

Ohh dang would this be fun!
I'm not sure how much of a help I could be at 16 (financial or planning help) but I'd love to get a meet at Norwalk going! Who knows, maybe I could help do something....

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

there are pontiac nationals at norwalk in the summer we could base off of, or go on a testntune night. ill say right now its pricier to get into norwalk then KCIR, its a big NHRA track though. lots of hotels around the area

true that other thing is hotel rates double during nationals Id like to go to nationals but I also think a meet in the middle of Illinois sometime too would be nice but everyone seemed decided they wanted to do ohio

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Idk I guess no matter what someones going to ***** just for the sake of doing so and nothing else I think I've proven that I'm willing to travel anywhere anytime and enjoy it under any circumstances. I drove 1200 miles this week and spent just under $200 including all my food and gas everything so I just don't understand how someone can say oh I can't afford that...

You have almost a years notice plenty of time to save and schedule around it If you don't want to go thats fine just say no if someone ask and thats it everytime one of these is planned like 50 people say oh yea cool I can do that and then they make up some lame ass excuse so I guess what I'm saying here is don't post anything unless you really want to attend

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Well I might as well be on the committee since everyone in kc looked at me like I was supposed to know what was going on. Might as well be in the plans from the start. Whats the plan for holding the money.
