I just thought I would post up that the work on the Screensaver is in progress. I have all the pictures chosen and have a couple different background music options I'll try out. The major work right now is getting all the pictures on an even basis dimensionally. The resolutions are all over the place and Ive got to even them out and that is going to take some time to get them right.
I have about 25 pictures that Im using now out of all the submissions I got. A fair number of the submissions I got were just too low of a resolution to work with. Im shooting for 1280 x 768 minimum. I may have to drop that to 1024 x 768 to accomodate a few of them, we'll see about that.
For all the new people that have joined, if you want to send me an email with some pictures to be considered for inclusion in the screen saver project send them to me via email at syntheticshield AT cableone DOT net. Include your full name, screen name and of course the pictures.
Im looking for some good interior shots, especially those looking at the dash from the drivers perspective, minimal windshield in the picture. Some very nice pictures of gaugues, like the Interceptor gauges or any gauges like that, maybe even some of those with the pontiac logo on them.
If you have any good belly shots of the GP, Id like some of those too. Of course, it would be a bonus if the underside is exceptionally clean. Nice burnout pictures would be good too. I also need more Monte Carlo and Regal pics. I like to have some track pics, particularly of ones with the cars crossing the line or that can get the board with the time displayed would be nice too, but I realize that no everyone has a zoom lens on a digital camera capable of doing that. Again, resolution is the key here. 640 x 480 isnt going to cut it.
