• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

other cars worth modding

Nice! Is that a vinyl top?

Haha thanx, yeah its a full vinyl top. It was on there when I got the car, I looked into having it removed but was in excellent condition and would've been a pain and expensive to remove it. So I decided just to leave it on. I put more money into it to get it to that point then id like to share, then turned around and traded it in for 2,000. Lol. The only reason I made it was to shut up my buddies about it being a grandmas car. Now they give me **** about about my gp. Soooooo, we'll see how this one turns out!? ;-)

Since your buddies give you crap, what are they driving?? Maybe they are jealous.

legacy gt and forester xt. both are capable of sti power levels, probably will never handle like one but wont be that far off. the forester i think is built on the impreza frame.

L67/L32 GEO metro
$100 for car $100 for motor, $100 for beer and brackets to make it work

That body style LGT is my favorite. Probably going to pick one up in a few years, it'll get whatever stick parts from the STi what will fit on it and. Girlfriend would drive a Fozzy XT as well, although right now she wants a fiat.

I used to see 100+ subarus a day living in Alaska. I see like one a week in Florida, I miss them.

im actively trying to talk the GF into getting a forester, N/A though. a leggy gt with a VF39, new TMIC, some suspension work and an STI 6MT makes for a killer ride. at that you basicly have a longer wheel base STI that draws less attention. one of the many routes im considering for myself in a few years.

they are much more common in snowy mountainous regions. i went to vermont for a week last winter and 70% of the cars i saw were subys. it was awesome

This ^^^^^^^^

A few years back at my first trip to the track to race, a guy brought in a tercel on a flat bed. Unloaded it and started checking the tire pressure and raised the hood. I went over to see this amazing swap only to see the stock motor in the car. I just walked away.

He went on to win bracket racing running 20.10 every pass. constancy, even if its slow, can win races

I can't even imagine driving a car that runs 20s...I would kill myself. Or just never stop so I didn't have to deal with the lack of acceleration.

They do pretty well up to like 45mph. There's like a whole community of guys absolutely obsessed with saving every drop of fuel with them... see some of them getting 50mpg.

Yeah, when I was in Asheville, NC they were everywhere.
They were also quite numerous in Denver, CO.

Almost literally NONE in Florida though.
