borla or stock?

I currently have an exhaust setup on my car, i dont know what it is because i cut the mufflers of another car at the junkyard. i like how the car sounds but im beginning to think i should quiet it down some as i can sound off people's alarms in parking lots lol. with a 3" straight pipe, would putting the stock mufflers back on quiet the car down? also, if stock wont quiet it down, i can deal with the sound. but i seen some borla mufflers on a 02 monte carlo in a junkyard and i was thinkin getting them. does anyone know if borla's sound good on these cars?
 


Borla's sound awesome. I loved the way my car sounded when I had my Borlas on. Very nice. Best sounding exhaust for these cars in my opinion.
 
yea i just wanted to get them cuz of the name, and i know borla's are expensive n it'll be a nice upgrade. like when i had my maxima, i came up on tokico struts and eibach springs at the junkyard for $60 as opposed to $600
