The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
i finely got time to work on my gtp, i changed my s/c snout and tuned ecu but now i get this P1336 code, my chilton manual doesnt have it listed. my car never had this issue with my other ecu could that be it?
P1336 Trouble Code Conditions:
DTC P0336, P0341and P1374 not set, engine started, ECT sensor more than 158ºF, and the PCM did not detect any CKP variation values. The Crankshaft Position system variation-learning feature is used to calculate reference period errors caused by slight tolerance variations in the crankshaft, and the CKP sensor(s). The calculated error allows the PCM to accurately compensate for reference period variations to enhance the Misfire Detection capability of the system.
Possible Causes:
Set the parking brake and block the drive wheels for safety.
Verify the hood is closed.
Read the trouble codes. If a code is set, refer to that code.
Start the engine. Allow engine temperature to reach at least 158ºF (70ºC). Then key off.
Select Crankshaft Position Variation Learn procedure on Scan Tool & start the vehicle.
Apply the brake pedal firmly and verify the selector is in Park.
Increase accelerator pedal position until fuel cutoff is reached at the test rpm (e.g., 5150). Quickly release the accelerator pedal after fuel cutoff is reached. The CKP system variation compensating values are learned when the engine speed (rpm) decreases back to idle speed and the procedure terminates
