my car

should i do black or body color?

Is this a trick question? Cuz Im reeealllly bad at those.

body color is boring to the max.

if you want to look like you dont have roof rails, paint them body color.

So then I take it you've also painted the side moldings, rocker moldings, etc. on your car a contrasting color too since you don't want it to look like your car didn't come with those either? ;) Contrast doesn't work very well when there's really no contrast anywhere else on the car. As chunky suggested, it just makes it look like you haven't gotten them painted yet.

Ummm......so by "black or body color".....you must be asking if you should make them gloss black, or primered black.

actually they looked pretty great on my dark green car with dark tint, tinted tails, and black housing headlight.

anyone that paints the other body pieces you mentioned another color than the car is stupid. straight up dumbtarded.

There is a difference between contrasting and different. Silver and white would be contrasting, dark grey or something similar would be different, but noticeable, and possibly sexy.
