No, #1 I was unaware of it, I apparently missed that thread.
#2 I already have a road trip planned to LA, Las Vegas and Salt lake.
SO I'll attempt to be prepared if this one goes down.

Im down for this and I do plan to set up another IAGP meet for next summer. Going to talk to the track and see if I can reserve a sat morning with better track prep for us.

It has to be Mid-Summer, easiest to schedule really
July 13-15th seems the best as its after 4th of July travelers and really a lame duck weekend.
St. Louis, MO seems like the best mid point.
Plenty of Hotels and there is a drag strip
Events could be:
-Drag strip
-Show
-Poker run (2 hour cruise where you stop in 5 places to take pictures and pick a card from a 52 card deck. Person with best hand when you return wins)
I would love to see a few trophies handed out...but that gets to be money.

Huge model class car show on Saturday with vendors. High Performance Pontiac comes out and does a article on the event. Racing (1/4 mile) on Sunday with model specific classes. Event is setup by Dapa (Dallas Area Pontiac Association).
