cold air intake and pcm question

Holy factory air filter replacement...

Get an aftermarket cone.

aftermarket cone in town is 40+ dollars.

this with equivalent surface area = 10 bucks after discount

flow is proportional to surface area.

this filter wins for now since i wanted to try the concept before dropping serious coin on something that might not have made any measurable difference vs. my FWI

I used 4" ABS pipe cause it is black. I like black.

Also, I used a 45° elbow and cut it in half to make a 22.5° bend. Works perfectly.

Meh...I'd bet an aftermarket cone would flow way better but for 10 bucks...yeah I guess you can't gripe.
