still got my grand prix tho. was gonna top swap it and already had the top swap and headers but i ended up saying its not worth it. sooooo i went out and got a 01 trans am ws6. 6 speed, t tops, sunset orange. car is beautiful. just hit 74k yesterday. picked it up for 10 grand. it was totaled at 58k, was off the road and rebuilt for 2 years, and got back on the road 2 years ago. so far i love it. its got pacesetter headers, slp exhaust with a offroad y pipe, ported tb, ported maf, koni struts, adjustable umi panhard bar, umi rear control arms with relocation brackets, b&m shifter, slp airlid, and a predator programmer. car is sick. even got flames on the hood! once i get some free time ill post some pics of it. ill probably keep the gp for winter plus i got a lot of money into with just stuff that already broke so i hate to just sell it for less than i put into it. oonly thing is now i got a top swap package with 90k that i bought and cleaned and am not gonna use as well as brand new speed daddy headers. anyone interested? lol
 


sounds awesome! price seems steep for a car with a salvage title but it sounds like a real nice ride... you should still top swap tho
 


well none of it was frame damage, or mechanical. just about every body panel tho and the sheet metal work on the inside was all messed up. the guy i bought it from has pics from before during and after the rebuild and he did it himself in what appered to be a dream shop. i saw it and was like :th_drooling: but anyway, up here in the good ol state of ct, trans ams with that type of mileage and what not go for like 13 and up so i got what i could get
 
plus it was already rebuilt went thru insepection and passed and now has the rebuilt title, in case that isnt what you assumed

not rebuilt tittle... salvage tittle meaning it was salvaged from a totaled tittle..
Doesn't mean it's not a good car tho-

exactly, he bought it with the salvage title, i bought it off this guy with the rebuilt title. idk if i confused anybody by the way i worded it. either way tho you cant tell it was rebuilt, the rear bumper doesnt line up with the quarter panels perfectly, but you really have to be looking for it to notice. thats the only thing ive noticed that gives away the car has been apart, the rear bumper anyway.
 
and as for the top swap to the gp, i still wouldnt mind it, but ehh idk thats a story for another day. the car already has 148k on it, stock tranny and motor, never been rebuilt so im not sure how much its actually worth it

x100 on the price with salvage. but have fun with the car!

don't turn it into another salvage title.
