• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Rich or a 100K Salary, would you keep your Prix?
Me: Hell yeah! I would have the damn thing restored, bored Cam'd and everything. lol

Maybe keep the prix for commuting.

My idea is that vehicular assets should be up to 1/3 of gross annual income.

I would get a new daily driver... used g8 or cts maybe a new malibu... then in my awesome garge with tons of tools and a lift... I would do things that would just be crazy to my prix... strip the thing down to nothing and build it up the way I want to

I would never get a 100k a year job because I can't spell garage, lol

if money wasn't an issue... yeah, i'd still have it. it's my second car, got it when i was 17, known exactly what's happened to it for the past 60k, and have had way too many memories in it. i'd like to have it till the body rusts off of it, but now that it's modded i'm sure something will break and i'll get tired of dumping money into it. assuming it doesn't, i'd like to do a manual trans swap but that's a pipe dream.

I'll be over 100k in a couple years and I'll still have a 95 Bonneville. I definitely don't need a typical social status car.

If I was banking that much I would have to let the GTP go. Either get something newer and faster stock while restoring a classic/building a hotrod... or just go all out and scratch off one of my dream cars.

I only say this because at the end of the day my GTP is just another "Grant Prix". Whether its ZZP's 8sec 1/4 mile record holder or just another stock GP its a grand prix... but this will turn heads no matter who you are...:th_thumbsup-wink:

And I would be proud of that. 92 3.3 Turbo S
Est KBB is 30-50k depending on quality and miles... I can live with that :D

I agree. I'm over 100k now. I'm selling the GTP and going to DD my $1500 Regal. I see no reason to buy cars for the cool factor.

But I do have plenty of other cars that I have plans to restore. When you have no money, you have lots of time. When you have lots of money, you have no time. I associate closer with the latter.
