TCS Wont Turn on or off . Bet no one can figuer this one out.help me fix my TCS

Alright. first off. i ended up having the TCS OFF light on as well as the abs light. i checked it with and abs scanner and the scanner would pick up and error code that it couldnt comunicate with the abs moduel. i swaped out the abs moduel and abs light is now off. when i first started the car the abs light would be OFF but the the TCS OFF light would come on by default. this isent normal. usually when u start the car the TCS light is off( not lit up) which idicate that TC IS ON by default. well okay. soo i press the TCS button to turn ON the TC since the light ( TCS OFF ) appeard on when i started the car and it turned off the light. i would think that my TC is now on but it isent. i can still rip the tires on it no problem. i let it be for a few days and one day when i started the car the light TCS OFF dint appear soo i tought okay its all back to normal but no. now when i press the TCS button NOTHING happends, the light dosent turn on or off. its like i have a button that does nothing. when i rip the tire the Low TRAC light still appears but the TC system dosent engage. this is ridiculus.

and guys dont post " who needs TC" its not the fact of who needs it , its the fact that i want it fonctional. and not a broken device. if anyone has any info on th TC system it would be nice. thanks:th_laugh-lol3:
 


There is a ground under the air box on the driver side of the car. It is just mounted to the metal of the car. It is the ground for the ABS module. I had mine go out which would cause the non communication (No ABS or TCS) because it has not ground so it won't turn on. I would check that ground wire first. Make sure it has a good, non rusted, connection.

The other thing I would do after you check that wire is to just disconnect the battery and leave it off for a couple of hours. It might possibly reset everything.

the ebcm was working fine in a 2000 grand prix gt , tc worked and all with no abs light, i put the ebcm in the 99 gtp and this is wat happend so im pretty sure all abs moduals are the same from 98-03. and ill check the grounds
