automatic opening cupholders?

I was wondering if it was possible to hook up some kinda motor or somthing to open up the cup holders by the push of a button. ino it would just be easy to manualy open them but it would be pretty james bondish to push a button and it folds out. and im talkin about the cup holders in a 97-03 grand prix.

lol yes BUT i think it would be pretty bad ass when someone asks "where the hell is ur cup holder?" and i push a button on the steering wheel and say "there it is"

cuz i was thinking have it rigged to the steering wheel radio controls.

They are door lock actuators so its not like a slow smooth motion like linear actuators. Its *pop* open, *pop* closed.

Yeah I was just noticing that I was looking for linear and while you are at it you could do the same thing with the ash tray

Im not doing it, I was just telling bandits what could be used to do it. Too much work for somethin I could just take a half second to pull open.
