• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! You know what's funny? I got a private message from one of the members telling me about this forum. I remember reading it, but was busy with the holidays and such, so I decided to look at it and sign up later. Anyways, I go back into my private messages and it was deleted. I was trying to remember the name of this site, when I saw a post on my local chapter OQCGP.
Is someone on Clubgp purposely deleting anything related to this club?
 


Yep, I'm sure it was Mike who deleted it. He knows he's loosing alot of members because he's an butthead.

In his mind if no one knows there is another forum to go to then they're kind of forced to stay on ClubGP where he can do as he wants.

Im going to give my opinion here and I want it understood that that is all it is.

I can still get on there from home so I troll around just to see whats going on. What I am seeing is what is best related to a cooking analogy. You that cook will be familiar with the term 'reducing'. In many cases you are just evaporating moisture to concentrate the core essence of the substance you are reducing or thickening it up. Its kinda like boiling salt water, you can boil away the water and be left with this concentrated salt residue.

Thats kinda what Im seeing over there now. It was a community with some less than ideal members that has been boiled down to just about that. I'm not saying that everyone there is like that, they just seem to be more prevalent now in my opinion. Some of the responses Im seeing there now are just out right rude and uncalled for.

But hey thats me, my opinion. It does seem, thought that great efforts are being made over there to prevent awareness of any other place to go. But let me tell you now, I believe they are failing. Its been around 100 new people here a week and that calls for a pat on the back to the members of this community. I haven't brought that many people in, YOU have. The people providing links on their local chapters, people sending out emails to those that they know, etc.

Let the other place do as it wishes, we will remain and stay true to our goals and vision and I will let that speak for itself.
 


i can't believe he is going into people's in boxes and deleting things. i think that alone gives a sense that he doesn't care about the people using that forum. and there is a certain trust that he is abusing.

OK...I just went into my PM inbox...and the one I recieved a couple weeks ago has also been deleted. This absolutely INFURIATES me! VIOLATION OF PRIVACY!
 
I assume I had one also. It shows that I have 1 message in my Inbox, but nothing is there.
 
Funny how PRIVATE gets deleted.... I dont care what the message is about its a PRIVATE MESSAGE! Ohh well, when someone starts posting threads about PMs being deleted they too will get deleted so nobody knows about it..... or so they think.
 
Yeah i already did post up about the PM and my sig was removed
from my box ....
it stayed on the board maybe 15 min before it was gone..
Seems any mention what so ever about the GPF gets deleted real fast
 


Oh ppl post on clubGp private messages are being deleted
and if you post on the board there that has anything to do with GPF
it gets deleted just as fast as you post it up...

I had someone remove my sig out of my profile there was no

This stayed up for about 15 min tops i believe before it was taken down...
When i post in Gen about why my siggy was removed they deleted that also..
with no feed back as to why...:):eek:

Here is the funny part...
My orginal siggy had My OQCGP club in it....
 
Gee I didnt see that coming.... lol maybe if everyone asks why PMs get deleted or sensored and sigs then there will be an answer. OHHHHhhh wait, we are supposed to read the simple rules and not bend them, shame on us
 
Mine was erased too, when you sign up here the system says to go back to the initial email you got and click the link to verify your information. I went back and there was no email. I was furious but what can I do. Anyone got a copy of the user rights you said yes to.

The email should have been sent to whatever email address you set up as your contact info, and I dont think that CGP has any way of deleting that....Maybe I missunderstood what you were saying..

well I just checked the forum agreement and it does not say much....However I did find this...
