• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

DRL/HID/Halo headlight questions

I'd rather not hear about how bad they are and maybe some help with what I'm asking if you have that. Remember, these are going on my car, not yours. If you don't like them there's no reason to sit here and trash talk something I just bought...

some people are just trying to help you out, but hey everyone has 600 bucks to blow every other day so i guess they are being rude... no one is telling you what to do, or how to do it, alot of people have had problems because it is hard to see on the road. i wish u best of luck, they do look sweet but do not perform

i didnt spend $600, nor would i ever. Like i said earlier, everything on the site is "for sale".

I'm just looking for some insight is all.
If i were to disable my DRL and hook my halo rings/LED brow up to my parking light, use this during the day, and then just switch on my auto setting at night to run my HID's, would it work in theory? I'm not much of an electrical guy. Don't really understand all the concepts.

To the absolute best of my knowledge, its not possible to disable the DRLs on 04+ GPs. The easiest thing really would be for you to buy a relay harness.

^^^ this shouldnt even have to be said. it should be bought before or at the same time

that said you can either tap the parking lights to cheat the drl's

or leave it. the ballasts now can handle drl's now. that and them being almost dirt cheap

Disconnect your high beam bulbs, they are garbage anyways. When you're done with your car, flip on the high beams, which turns off the low beams, therefore giving you no lights on except the parking (orange) lights. If you hook the halo's to that, they will always be on when the orange is on. That's how I had mine hooked up, you can even make it blink with the turn signal if you want.

Except when the high beams are on, the low beams stay on as well.
