Does anyone know if seats from a G8 or G6 fit a 1997 grand prix? Mainly concerned about the fronts

the G6 has a similiar rear bolt set up not sure on measurments.

G8 i think have 4 bolts mounting the seats in.

can you fab brackets?

Don't know never tried, but don't have wielding skills
would the sit the same height as the gp seats?

Some one needs to do Buick Lucerne seats my moms new one has nice ones and the stiching would look great in a GP IMO

04+ seats are so much nicer It's hard to even describe the difference going from one to the other I need to get some in mine... because our 97-03 seats are horrible

Well I wanted the caddy seats but the are hard to find the buicks sound nice too if they will fit so guys I am asking then what seats (that are comfortable and really nice looking0 that are a direct fit since I do not have access to a wielder

Well I liked my 97 seats ok but want o move up to leather and Katzkins are being an ass. I am eliminating the back seats but one Katzkin dealer will not sell me just the fronts I need to buy the whole set another dealer, will only take $100.00 off the price and still another wants $400.00 extra for just the fronts because its a "custom job." So screw it I take my time and scout salvage yards and craigs list for seats I am ahead of the game
