recall on 02 fixed now check eng light

last friday had the recall on 02 for engin bay fire fixed. now car is flashing check eng. light. brother in law said recall was some thing to do with plug wires? does any one know? and just changed my first coolant elbow. two hours could not figure how belt went back on. diagram mising finally figured it out i won't make that mistake again........or will i. thanks

Yes, most parts stores, which are on about every corner anymore, will check them for free. Takes all of 2 minutes.
 
I know the recall is for the valve covers, but I think it also included new spark wire retainers. One of the spark plug wires could be damaged or not securely pressed on the spark plug. Get the check engine light code checked at the autoparts store for us to lead you in a better direction.
 


got it done runs like its supposed to. plugs looked fine so my a wir was bad cause i belive they where on good cause i had to fight like hell to get them off. anyway thanks a lot.
