will a 99 Trans out of a park ave with 305s work?

As the title states will a 4t65e with 305 gears out of a 99 park ave work in my 99gt with the pcm modified for the gears?

It's the electrical device on the lever. Some trans's have it inside the case.

Another thing to consider is if the trans lines are click or threaded. PA and the larger bodies typically had threaded in 99, while the W bodies were typically click. Easy to adapt, but something to keep in mind.

The one i was looking at doesnt appear to have that piece only the lever

You can swap your range switch onto that trans that has it internally.

Not to worry. There's two 13mm bolts and one 15mm nut that hold that onto the shaft. The part will fit any 4T65E transmission and you can easily add it. Lemme get you more info.
